Zoosk : Dating Site Review
Zoosk.com is a unique dating website that combines the ease of social networking with the thrill of romantic matchmaking. Its trademark feature is the Behavioral Matchmaking™ software, which learns your preferences over time and alerts you to possible matches based on the profiles you've clicked, the people you've contacted, and other patterns in your behavior.
Zoosk has all the features of a social networking site with a matchmaking twist. Every Zoosker completes a dating profile called a Date Card, which gives a little information about what the person is like and what he or she is looking for. You can choose from the matches generated by the Behavioral Matchmaking™ software, or you can use these three features to browse fellow Zooskers' profiles:
#1: Profile Carousel
This is a game where you are shown individual Zooskers and can click "Yes" or "No" to indicate interest. If you click "Yes" for someone, Zoosk will send them a notification. As time goes on, Zoosk will learn from your click results to show you better matches.
This is the classic way to search, but you might get interesting results. Simply choose your own criteria such as age, location, or interests, and Zoosk will show you a list of users who fit the bill.
#3: Zoosk Scientific Matchmaking Service™ (ZSMS)
You will be presented with one match every 24 hours based on your profile information and behavioral patterns. If you both click "Like", you'll be introduced!
Zoosk comes with its own messaging system for emails and instant messaging. It's also linked to third-party applications on other popular social networking sites like Facebook.
Becoming a Zoosker is quick and easy. It's free to create a profile and you can fill in as much or as little information as you'd like. You can log in with Facebook to find existing friends or use your email address to find friends on Zoosk. You can choose whether or not to complete the Zoosk compatibility test, which is designed to refine your matchmaking results even further.
The initial sign-up is free, and you can send one free message per recipient. To access the entire set of features, however, you will need to upgrade to a paid subscription. Zoosk also has its own virtual currency that can be purchased and redeemed for other perks.
|OPTIONS||TOTAL COST||COST PER MONTH||SAVINGS|

Zoosk values its members' safety and privacy above all. All profiles are screened for offensive or suspicious content. Users' personal and financial information are encrypted and never shared with a third party. Zooskers are encouraged to report any misbehaving members or flag profiles that violate the rules.
What We love
Zoosk's Behavioral Matchmaking™ technology is a breakthrough in online dating. Along with the compatibility test, it does an excellent job at learning what its members actually want in a relationship. As the many successful Zoosker couples can confirm, the method really works.
Room for Improvement
Zoosk puts a new social spin on online dating that some less technologically advanced people may not be ready for. Although the Facebook integration and email search are completely optional features, there are people who strongly prefer to keep social networking and online dating far apart. For those people who still want to take part in Zoosk’s award-winning matchmaking services, there is an option to sign up via email and avoiding syncing the dating site with social networking accounts.
We were impressed by Zoosk's many features and refreshed by the site's up-to-date, stress-free approach to online dating. Zoosk provides a unique and fun experience for people eager to try a new kind of social dating and it is backed by proven results.
